SARAH
GROSSE
Actor. Musician. Storyteller.
"Grosse... carries the demanding role of Ariel with a charming demeanor and a lovely voice fit for a Disney princess."
~Mary Garrigan, Black Hills Pioneer, The Little Mermaid
"To say that Sarah Grosse is a hard worker is an understatement. Since I first met her, I was impressed by her focus, her drive, and her willingness to take risks... for her, it's not only about how she can do better, but how she can give back..."
~Bart Williams, former Managing Director of the Michigan Shakespeare Festival
"The large cast is led by the bride (played by Sarah Grosse) and the groom... both of whom bring strong vocal performances to their musical numbers. The best of the play's songs may be 'Show Off', where Grosse gets to vamp as a leading lady of the Broadway stage..."
~Mary Garrigan, Black Hills Pioneer, The Drowsy Chaperone

About Sarah
Welcome y'all! Sarah is an actor, singer, dancer, and musician based in Atlanta, GA (soon to be NYC!) but she will always be a NOLA girl at heart! She recently graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in Music from the Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University.

Growing up in the heart of south Louisiana, Sarah developed a deep love for jazz that has influenced her identity as both a performer and instrumentalist. Her vocal experience is nothing short of expansive, as she had the privilege of performing at age ten with the New Orleans Children's Chorus and the New England Symphonic Ensemble at Carnegie Hall. In more recent years, Sarah has garnered experience as a featured vocalist with multiple big bands and jazz ensembles throughout her academic career.
Sarah considers it her vocation as a performer to connect with audiences by finding the truth and beauty in the theatrical stories she tells. Whether through musical comedy, new works, or just being her goofball self, she strives to create art that is joyful and genuine, and she wants to share that joy with everyone she meets.
Alongside her onstage work, Sarah is a budding writer, director, and voiceover artist. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her pup Lucy, thrifting vintage records, and sampling every kind of chocolate dessert within a 50 mile radius!
